Start and stop multiple sound clips in one slide

Hello!
I need some help with my powerpoint 2003 presentation.
1. I am setting up a test where subjects shall listen to four sound clips on
each slide. My problem is that I don't get the first clicked sound to stop
when I click the next sound. I would like the different sounds to be played
one at a time and to have the possibility of playing them several times.
2. Is it possible to insert an icon in each slide which you have to click
before entering next slide?

Thanks!

1. How are you inserting the sound clips? Normally, clicking on one sound
clip will stop the playing of a previous sound clip.

2. Add navigation buttons and put the presentation in Kiosk mode (File >
Set Up Show > Played at a Kiosk).

1. I insert the sound files by: Insert >> movies and sounds >> Sound from
file >> choose the wanted file (wave format) >> choose "start when clicked"

I thought this would work as you wrote, but it doesn't. The first file keep
on playing when clicking the next.

Thanks for your adwise!

Hmm. Maybe someone else can chime in because when I do exactly as you
said, it works as expected with one sound stopping when the other one is
clicked.
