Standby Problems

Hi folks: I use a Logitech wireless keyboard and until today the sleep button worked perfectly. Today I installed a driver for an Acard SCSI card for my scanner ( Acer 610s). Now the sleep button doesn't work. If I go to 'Start' 'Shutdown Computer' the standby button is greyed out. In addition the computer won't shut down but reboots. I have to press the on-off switch to get it to stop. Any advice please. Thanks, Donald

You could try going to the scanner company's web site and see if there is a more up-to-date driver and downloading it.
