stand alone active directory setup

ok, refresh my brain... Setting up a single server with AD, as the
DC... I keep getting the error, "the network location cannot be
reached...." I have gotten around this before but cannot remember what
I did. I am setting it up as myghost.local

Install DNS and point this server to itself, in the properties of TCP/IP,
for DNS and reboot.
