Hello All,
I've got a Windows 2000 Server running IIS 5.0 with an SSL cert. configured
for a website. Every month of so all SSL authentication fails and the only
way to get it working is to reboot the server. All websites themselves run
fine. Only the SSl encryption stops functioning.
Today after rebooting from such an error I noticed a System Log error:
Event ID:5000; Source: LsaSrv; Category: Devices
Description:
"The security package Microsoft Unified Security Protocol Provider generated
an exception. The package is now disabled. The exception information is the
data."
I checked on the web and found an article with this error but it pertained
to AD which I'm not running. Can anyone provide any insight to this and how
to resolve it?
Thanks!
Troy
