I just loaded windows 2000 yesterday & now get an error
message when 1) I try to set "windows 3D flower box" as my
screen saver
and 2) The screen saver gererates the error message below
when it is supposed to activate

The error message is: "ssflwbox.scr.exe has generated
errors & will be closed by windows you must restart the
program"
Then the computer locks up
So...please, someone, tell me what & why this is happening
& how can I resolve it?

Try safe mode. If the problem does not occur in safe mode, disable services
one at a time until you can identify the service causing the problem.
