I get the following messages when trying to add a new database to a new
website.

Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the
operation or the service is not responding.

sqlservr.exe has stopped working

a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close
the program and notify you if a solution is available.

I have Visual Studio 2005 installed Version 8.0.50727.762 (SP.050727-7600).
I have SQL Server Standard Edition and Express Edition.

I have uninstalled SQL Server and reinstalled it. I initially just
reinstalled SQL Server Standard Edition. I received error about needing SQL
Server Express when I tried to add a new Database to the new website. I
installed SQL Server Express Edition. The errors above returned.

I was able to create database in SQL Server Management Studio. I was able to
attach to the database in Server Explorer. I am able to see the database and
look to be able to connect to it, but when I test my application I get a
blank page. I put some text above the grid that was pulling information from
the database and it didn't appear. I tried adding some data manually, and it
worked. This is a way to work, but it is not a good way. Any help to resolve
the errors above would be appreciated.
