Will Microsoft SQL Server Standard edition run on Vista Ultimate? The MS web
site reads that it will run on XP Pro but does not mention Vista.

Sure it can way not? Try it and if it doesn't work, you can download SQL
Server 2005 Express Edition, which is free, and it does work on Vista
Ultimate.
