SQL Server "Locks Setting" - Access97-SQL7 Upsize

Hi there....

I have been encountering problems regarding my recent attempt at a Upsize
from Access 97 to SQL 7.
At first the upsize (using the MS free upsize tool) renamed some of my
tables with the suffix "_remote".
I was notified that this was due to a incompatable naming convention that
was used in the design of the DB (or none at all!!). So i renamed all the
tables tblDATA_DATA with the relevant names obviously.

But after a day using an advanced renaming tool the upsize still produces
the (_remote) suffix and the extra query !!

I have no idea why this is and if anyone can shed some light on the subject
that would be very much appreciated.

I receive an error just before i click OK to upsize, however stating -

WARNING! The upsizing wizard has determined that you may exceed the current
SQL "locks" setting if you upsize now..............................

Evidently the current "locks setting is 0 and needed is 8852

I have no idea what this means or if it has anything to do with my problem.
Thanks in advance
