SQL Server CE and MSDE?

Will SQL Server CE wok with MSDE or do I need to SQL Server?

Hello,

Yes, SQL Server CE will work with MSDE 2000. Keep in mind that MSDE is
meant for smaller solutions limiting to 5 concurrent workloads.
