Spyware Misses Severe Keystroke Logger

Microsoft Beta Spyware is limited in ability to detect
severe spyware. I ran the beta this morning and nothing
was found. Immediately I ran AOL Spyware software and it
detected the following spyware:

ASP Version: 1.5.17 Definition Date: 07-15-2005 Date:
7/23/2005 7:01:48 AM
Action: Begin Registry Scan
*****************

ASP Version: 1.5.17 Definition Date: 07-15-2005 Date:

Action: Found: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\licenses|
{k7c0db872a3f777c0}
Spyware Name: AdvancedKeylogger
*****************

ASP Version: 1.5.17 Definition Date: 07-15-2005 Date:

Action: Found: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\licenses|

Spyware Name: AdvancedKeylogger

MS Beta only scans the first 40,000 files. AOL does a
complete 'full' scan of 90,000 files.

Unless Microsoft fixes the bugs in its beta version, I
will delete the software and use the AOL software which
is trustworthy unlike Microsft which kisses the ass of
spyware makers in the world.

Wake up Billy Boy! Get your s... together.

No it didn't. AOL found only orphaned Registry key entries, probably
related to malware long since removed. The list you quoted contained no
executable malware whatsoever, and certainly not a keystroke logger.
