This update fixes the 'slow scanning' issue. A scan now takes 7 minutes on
my machine, which is pretty much as it was before these problems began.

Updated today and 5 minutes was all it took. ZA is my AV and everything is
back to normal...

Well, at least I'm consistent.

Before the 'slow scanning' issue, a scan on my PC would take approximately
15 minutes or so; during the 'slow scanning' issue, a scan on my PC took
approximately 15 minutes or so; and with the latest downloaded definitions,
my PC STILL takes approximately 15 minutes or so.

It's comforting to have a sense of constancy in my life. :>

I forget exactly what Andy Warhol said, but I think it was something like:
'in the future, everybody's Spybot scan will be famous for 15 minutes'.

versions of the statement he used to tease people with .....
