spybot and adaware resistant

Hi Rich,
Try running Adaware and spybot under safe mode. This will
allow the deletion of files and registry keys that are
loaded at startup.
Make sure you have updated adaware and spybot first to
the latest definitions.
Also, after the cleanup, go to the windows update site
and install the latest updates.
Spybot will find a DSO exploit when you have not updated
your machine....

Download and install the VX2 plugin for AdAware from here :

Read " How to use Lavasoft’s VX2 Cleaner add-on " on the above page.
It would be best to run the plugin in Safe Mode with show hidden
