spool 32 - skips records

I have a problem with Spool 32 in MS-Windows XP. I
frequently run envelope print jobs of 500 records + on a
Rena printer, using HP Desket 500 printer driver, and
every now and then the printer will skip (or go backward)
a bunch of records. (IE: will jump back from record #450
to #400 or ahead to #475). I have reinstalled the
Envelope printer software (Jetmate) and the HP 500 driver
several times to no avail. The software people tell me
it is a problem with Spool 32 and that it should be
reinstalled. Any idea on how to reinstall just Spool 32?

From Start, Run, try typing

sfc /scannow

You'll need your XP CD for this but if it's a system file that has gotten
corrupted, XP will replace it with a good copy.

We are also experiencing the same type problem. We are
having a custom application that uses a program called
bartender to build the printed page of labels. It will
build the jobs by ticket number and format, so this means
we have some very large jobs of 200 pages or more and a
lot of smaller jobs of 1 to 5 pages. We will have and
average of 150 to 300 jobs in the queue at any one time,
depending on the job sizes. We are running windows XP and
bartender printing to IBM Infoprint 70 printers. Anyone
have any segestions?
