Split unsecured database

I have a split database with no security which is the best way to start
securing eg

Convert it back to unsplit then follow the 5 steps of Joan

Secure the Front end or the back end first then?

I cant seem to see the answer in the links etc

It doesn't really matter which order you do it in, just make sure to use the
same workgroup file for both. FWIW, I'd do the backend first ...
