split and freeze window

Hi all,

Im hoping there is a solution to this issue.

I have split and frozen my sheet intersecting at cell reference C1 I have
happily frozen the Column headings so the data scrolls under it persay.
and Im happy with the left hand side where I have the consolidated
information spread over Cols A B & C relating to all the transactions on the
sheet.

Only problem i have now is when I scroll vertically the data spread over
Cols A B & C scrolls away. It's not practical to change the split
intersection as the information i want to see on the left is virtually the
height of the screen, it's also not practical to run the info across the top
above the headings either, way too cluttered.

is there such a thing as a double split or another way I can achieve this.

thanks in advance.

Stewart,

You can have one vertical split and one horizontal split. If you select a
cell other than from the first row or from column A when you perform the
split, you'll get both.

Hi Bernie,

thanks for confirming what I thought but didn't want to believe.

now I have to find another way around it. :)

Another way around it might be:

<Window> <NewWindow>
Then,
<Window> <Arrange>,
And choose a configuration to your liking.

Play around and you might be pleasantly surprised at what you can see
displayed.
