Spell Checker in Style Description

In a document, the spell checker seems to be turned off, and I checked all
options I knew of, and can't turn it back on. Interestingly, in the styles,
modification, description, there is a term "do not spell check or grammer" is
actually a parameter along with all the other attributes.

How do I remove this? I don't see such an option in the format..

All other doucments, including new ones, are fine.

In the Modify Style dialog, click Format | Language and clear the "Do not
check spelling or grammar" check box.
