Spell Check on Word /Excel/Outlook 2007 fails to find any errors

I have converted serveral word files from 2003 to 2007 and mad modiifcations
to each file, none of the spelling mistakes are being found.

I have checked the settings, they appear to be correct. I have look at the
discussion group to find others with this problem and followed thier
suggestions however despite this my spell checker fails to find any error at
all.

Please help me as my spelling is really poor.

Hi Marq,

If you use Ctrl+A on the document and set the language from the
Review tab on the ribbon to a choice with an 'abc checkmark' next to it and rerun the speller what errors is it not finding?

What font are you using? Some 'text like' fonts are actually considered 'decorative/symbol' fonts by Windows and aren't seen as
text by the speller.
