spell check not working..

I have enabled spell checking to check before sendng an
email. It comes with message custom dictionary not found.
I selected Tools,Options and in the Spelling tab tried to
do a edit to dictionary it came up with the path to the
dictionary and said the file for cutom dictionary was not
found in that path. I looked up the path and it was not
correct. The path missed the user name eg) the path was
d:/profiles//applicationdata/.. /proofs/customdictionary
but dictionary instead is located in
d:/profiles/username/applicationdata/.. /proofs/customdic
yionary.

My question is how to correct the path in outlook to
search the dictionary?

Any ideas?
