Bill,

I don't know what a burger cost at the moment in the US, but it was always
cheaper then here in the EU.

I assume that it is not a reason for you to eat some more. As you like them,
then eat them.

I see,

so basically my best case scenario, is to have a dedicated 64 bit dev
system, and my notebook to run the 32 bit.

I have run into software that does not run properly on 32 bit - which is why
i still use vista 32.

I also didint know about the 3.5 gb upper limit - but good to know.

Adding more ram is the cheapest and most simplest measure to implement. New
hard drives are more costly in terms of cost and your time. Perform a scan
on your drive and see how it looks - bad areas and maybe better performance.

Each time I have added ram my computer almost seems brand new!!! The
performance gain was drastic when I looked back on 1gb vs 4gb. It made such
an improvement I reinstalled games because of the performance just to see
the difference.

Get another 1gb and judge for yourself as it will not be a waste!
