spacing of icons inside folders

Hi

Running XP Media center SP2.

Within the folders, in tiles view, the individual folder and file icons are
spread far apart. How can I reduce the distance XP defaults to for the
spacing of these icons within the folders?

I know about Desktop/Properties/Appearance/Advanced and changing "Icon
spacing", but that only changes the spacing on the desktop, not the spacing
of icons within the folders in Tiles view.

Can it be done? How?
