SP4 won't download

I know this issue was in another thread here as well, but just to bring it
out clearly:

I'm trying to
install SP4, but it just won't download it. The best I got was to about 2/3
of the download, but now the past 2 hours it's not even starting the
download! I only need the express install, but I'm on dialup, so even that
takes a LOT of time. What alternatives are there for me? Can I download the
necessary file(s) using a download program that can resume downloads? Can I
download the file from another computer (with cable), put it on cd, and run
it on the win2000 computer? Can I download the network version at a friend's
house and run it from a CD on this computer that needs the patch?

Anyway, any help would be much appreciated. I rely on this laptop to keep up
on my work while I'm on travel (for the next month) but I've been unable to
do any work the past couple days because of this problem...

Try downloading sp4 (network installation) - 132Megs from your friends
computer with high speed Internet. Burn it to cd. Copy the file over to
your laptop and install the service pack.

I believe the network installation contains all the files needed for the
service pack.
