SP4 fail to install

I tried to update with SP4 through Windows Update and fail
to continue the installation.
The first message I got is:
SP4iis
Unable to connect to metabase.

Then the second message I got is:
Setup failed to remove ism.dll script mappings.
Service Pack Setup will abort.
I wonder if you can help solve this problem (shall I
remove the ism.dll file manually?.

Hi,

- Disable IISAdmin and W3SVC,World Wide Web Publishing service and FTP
Publishing services in Services, rebooted the machine, and SP4
installation will ran fine.
