Bob Harrison

I have several of the above around my site... and have been remote managing
using HTML and IE7... After SP3 install.... I have no Access.. get a
HTTP400 (Bad Request Error)... On other NON SP3 desktops.. the Http access is
still working fine..

Tested by doing an SP3 update on a different workstation.... and after
reboot... same problem...

?? workaround ?? Any ideas would be appreciated..

Thank You

Contacted DLink?

Shenan... I am not interested in installing another browser.... I did leave a
support request with Dlink but they haven't responded yet....
I don't think it is a Dlink issue.... I can still use html to get to the
access points from any desktop that does not have SP3 on it... as soon as SP3
is in it quits...
All my printer's html interface are still working as is a Dlink Switch... it
is only the Access Points that I can't get to...

You asked for a work-around - I assumed from that you wanted a work-around.
My bad.

I'd be shocked if they ever respond, to be honest. Is the firmware updated

As for it being SP3 - the test for this is if you remove SP3 - it would work
again.

If you remove SP3 and remove IE7 and install SP3 - does IE6 with SP3 give
you the same issues? (Or somehow SP3 with IE6, not IE7...)

My Bad also... I am hoping for a setting or switch someplace.. anyhow...

on these devices?
They did respond.. no reported problems... check with Microsoft..
Yes the firmware is current and was before the problem

See below...

I removed SP3 and the problem is still there... so it is something the
install did...
and it has to be in SP3.. as I had another desktop tested... the SP2 and
the DLink web interface worked.. I then installed SP3 .. and rebooted.. and
the web link gives the 400 error.. again.. all the other web interfaces
(Printers and a Dlink switch) are still working... only the 2100 access
point is lost.

I will try that... though I have been running IE7 for sometime and with no
problems
