SP2 - Yes? No?

Was SP2 released today?

I'm running XP Home, fully up to date AFAIK. I have Automatic Update set to
'advise only' (because I'm on a dial-up and hence not 'always on.') but it's
been silent. Windows Update tells me that my system needs no critical
updates.

Does this mean that I already have SP2?

If I've got SP2:
(a) How did I get it?
(b) How can I check that I've got it? Would it show up in the Add/Remove
Software list?

Yes, but not all computers now.
Since Microsoft is daily limiting the number of computers updated by
Automatic Update, it may be a while before you get SP-2 if you are
using AU.

Right click My Computer
Click Properties
Waht does it say under System?

Scheduled to start today.
A limited number of computers should start receiving SP-2 assuming
they have Automatic Update enabled:
