sp2 wont install off cd

I am installing sp2 on a computer now. I have it copied on
the hard drive. I put it on a cd so I could use it to put
on other machines. I must have done something wrong with
the disk. Do you close the cd. Or should it run from a
cdrom?

I don't see why it won't work from there. Did you get any specific error
messages when you are trying to install the Service Pack from the CD. I have
installed SP1 from the CD so far and it has worked fine.

As far as I know, closing the CD has nothing to do with this problem. can
you see the contents of the CD on which SP2 is burned on the machine on which
you are trying to install the service pack?
