SP2 Sec. center not recognising Avast antivirus

I know it should as I have it installed on another machine at home and SP2
recognises and reports perfectly.

But on my machine, Security Center teels me I have no antivirus installed.
How can I force security center to find Avast?

I installed SP2 whislt NAV was installed. later uninstalled NAV (using all
Syamntec utilities etc.) and install Avast 4 Home edition.

Looks like Avast Version 4.1.412 update fixes this issue:

If that does not help, I would suggest a clean installation again
(especially after you've uninstalled Norton AV, I bet the software entries
would still be present in the registry). Then, reinstall Avast.
