I see lots of rumors from non Microsoft sources with that and other
dates past and future.
What is your Microsoft source?

It will fix all of the problems (challenges) that exist on his computer.. :)
you obviously haven't heard that SP2 will add downforce to a wireless mouse
so that it holds a line on the fast turns.. pizza bits will no longer
prevent the space bar from being pressed.. and the cd tray will be hardened
to accept a large Tim Horton's double double.. my only fear is that the auto
type cigarette lighter that I have installed above the cdrw will not light
king size cigarettes after installation.. Y2K had a big enough impact on
it.. the date on the computer changed to the 1st day of Lent and I had to
give up for a month.. by the time that I could smoke again, the drivers for
the device had been corrupted by me doing 'nothing at all.. I didn't touch
it'.. I say that, but thinking about it, I remember operating the auto
starter for the Jeep while I was deleting the USER part of registry cos
somebody told me that if I do that, it will make the pc faster.. :) :)

Mr. Logical

I wouldn't be so anxious to install a major service pack
like XPSP2. Despite all the hype, it won't be bug free.

I myself will wait a short time before installing it.

That seems logical!

Why exactly what do you think SP2 will do for you?

Good question. It's like when customers are running win98 and only using
their 64 meg P400 8meg video 8 gig HDD pc for aol chat and ask "Should I
upgrade to XP?"

"Why do you want to upgrade to XP?"

"I read some articles online from big sites that said it will make my pc
run faster and speed up my internet connection."

Good advice.
I been & still using xp sp2 rc2. I have no problems. There are
trying to make it bug free as possible. If you have automatic update
on, it will downloaded it but you will have to click ok on the eula.

It been delayed again.

I think Microsoft wants to release all the ways to get xp sp2 at the
exact same time. Order Cds, Rtm, Auto updater, Windows Update,
separate download, e.t.c.

According to Jupiter Jones, those who watch the calendar are the
cause of buggy software. So we'll blame you if it has any bugs.

Bob;
I did not say that.
Why do you insist on misquoting me?
Is your reading comprehension that low?
Or do you just enjoy stating untruths?
Which is it?

Bob Sheppard

I lifted this quote from Jupiter Jones's post of Aug 1 16:36:27. It is an
exact copy of that sentence using copy and paste, Quote: "Calendar watchers like you are
one of the major causes of buggy software."
End Quote.

I don't wonder you don't like to admit you said that, it's really dumb.

Your prediction a few days ago, that SP-2 would be released in 3 to 5 weeks was another
flop. You may get downgraded to an LVP.

Bob, you will find that Juniper has this very selective memory about
what he posts. It's sad but it seems more than one of these MVPs have
some kind of problem or another that comes out on usenet. It appears
these personality flaws (I use this term loosely for lack of better
terminology) seem more prevalent in some of the MVPs and regular
posters, but that is probably because of the volume of posts made. I
think most people have them, myself included. One has to wonder how
these problems come about.

No, wrong again, you rephrased it changing the meaning.
Go back and read it this time, then quote if you can.

My "prediction" was actually a guess and I stated it that way.
Again you somehow feel the need to misquote to prove a point.
Why do you need to misquote?
Do you somehow feel misquoting is necessary to prove yourself?

If you are unable to quote correctly, perhaps you should not quote at
all.

Spoken by the troll also incapable of reading.

Perhaps you also should read it.
Since you have already commented, it is really to late, but still...
My "selective memory" happens to match what I actually posted.
Someone else posted a link, perhaps you should read it.
There is a difference.

If you would read it you would notice a few words difference from what
I actually said and how Bob misquoted me.
If you can not see any difference perhaps you have the same
comprehension issues as he does,

As for "personality flaws", I am not the one misquoting.
I am not blindly following Bob as you are just because it seems to
suit your motives.

Enough time wasted on people unwilling to comprehend.
Post back only so you and Bob can wallow in each others company,
because I may not even see it.
