SP2- Remove Security Alerts

N

I want to remove the "red shield" Security Alert icon that opens the
security center. I know how to access the center with the need to resort to
the icon in the system tray on the desktop.

Actually all you have to do is to disable the security center service using
the MS services snap-in:

%SystemRoot%\system32\services.msc /s

it's listed there. imho the whole security center feature is just annoying
and does not increase security
