SP2 problems with boot

David

Recently I upgraded to SP 2 and now windows won't boot properly, it gets so
far them I get the black screen with startup options?
Start up in Safe mode with networking works, the only way to boot normally
is to do a system restore that takes me back b4 SP2, any ideas?

Thanks

Some drivers are not SP2 compatible. Please review your hardware for
current drivers from the manufacturers web site.

Thanks for the info, I followed your instructions to the letter and still
have the same problem with black screen startup options??? Also I can't
access control panel, just closes with error message that doesn't tell me
how to fix just sends the error report to MS. I have tried getting into
control panel via the start button and also by windows explorer??

I updated all my device drivers, VIA chipset utilities, etc.

Any other ideas?

Thanks
