SP2 on CD

Hi--I want to install the SP2 update on my computer by
using the CD. When I put the CD in the drive, nothing
happens. What do I need to do have the CD start the
install?

Either set your CD unit to auto sense, or open My Computer, rightclick on
the CD icon, select EXPLORE and then look for an executable file..

Before you install SP2, disconnect from the net, disable the anti-virus and
firewall, close down all programs running in the system tray.. it is not a
bad idea to disconnect peripheral devices.. ie scanner, printer, webcam etc

Try this:

Go to Run>Browse and change to drive where the CD is. Then double click on
'Autorun.exe'.
