SP2 kills my connection to the internet

I have installed SP2 4 times since release on my computer and each time I am
unable to use the Internet afterwards.

Once I install SP2:
I restart windows and will have access to the internet for about 2 minutes.
After these 2 minutes I can still load webpages however, the graphic
disappear and are replaced by red “Xâ€s or .jpg icons. Then, about 30 seconds
after that, I loose the ability to load webpages completely. This is true for
IE, Netscape, and firefox.

At this time my MSN messenger still says I am connected however and see
people as online, I am unable to send messages.

After trying to make it work (Turning off firewall, etc) I give up and
restore the system to a point before SP2 and things seem to work fine again.

Anyone know a fix?
