If you have updated the Service pack than the problem may have been fixed already, this is when the SP2 was released and at that time folks had problems with programs listed.

Many issues over time tend to get fixed with updates, the original post is not a recent one as you may or may not have noticed it. By the way I am not a VisualStudio user myself, whatever gave you that impression. :)

Its not that way I just want to know was there any problems related to any assembly in particular or it was some functional issue .Your input would definitely help me in my work as I test .Net applications etc .

SP2 turns on the XP firewall by default so if you have another firewall like sygate it will cause a lot of conflicts in many programs. Before you install SP2 the XP firewall is off by defalt so no conflicts with other firewalls. SP2 users try turning off the XP firewall in control panel if another firewall is installed.
