Sp1a and Roxio Easy Cd Creator Dramas

Just upgraded to Sp1a and Roxio Easy Cd Creator 6 (or any of it's
applications) causes major freeze of PC at startup. Could not boot to safe
mode either, looks like a .sys is hanging so never got to safe mode. Before
SP1a that no real dramas.
I went back to the previous "known good version" and all is sweet again.
Checked and PC is on SP1.

Nothing on Bill's site or Roxio reating to this problem, anyone else
experienced this problem?

You're not looking very hard if you think you're the only one having this
problem, but it doesn't tend to be so much due to Roxio as just SP1, and
with anything relating to the CD.

Try searching for the terms: XP slow SP1
and you'll probably find lots of hits, esp. on specific Dell models.
