while running soundhardwaretest an error comes up
ox80004005 cant find dpvsetup.exe this file is on my pc
tried everything asfar as i know it even formatted and
reinstalled xp plz help me getting desperate
got an solution from someone that unfortunatly didnt
work tnx anyway he said type dpvsetup /t at run still it
wont go through soundhardwaretest with same errormessage
got an sb audigy 2 5.1 soundcard grtz and tnx already

I'm confused, 1st you say dpvsetup.exe is giving a error of ox80004005 and
than you say dpvsetup.exe is missing.

Dpvsetup.exe cannot not be missing and giving a error of ox80004005.

If Dpvsetup.exe is giving a error of ox80004005, I would update the sound
driver and retest with dpvsetup /t
