sound won't work

My speakers won't make a sound. My drivers say that the
device is working properly. What am I doing wrong? Please
help! Thanks

make sure that the speakers are plugged into the right
port in the back of your computer. make sure u have the
wave, PC speaker, and the overall volume turned up.
