sound effect not installed

When I attempt to add a basic sound (such as chime, applause) to an animation
I receive a "sound effects not installed" message. I am then instructed to
insert my installation disk and even though I navigate to the "sounds section
on the media disk" I cannot install this. (The basic sounds seem to be in my
C:\Windows\Media folder. I do not know what to do (obviously)!

You'll need to run Office Setup again and opt to install those sound
effects.

Which version of Office are you using?

Geetesh!
Worked great. I discovered that the (default (?)) option I had marked was
"install on first use," so it kept trying to do just that. One the new
install I changed it to "run from my computer" and all is well! Thanks much.
I am runing XP Professional.
