Sound Clips

I have 3 sound clips (MP3) on the same slide. They are all set to play on
click. When you click on the first song it starts playing; great so far.
Problem is that when you click on the second song, the first song still
continues to play. IS IT POSSIBLE to stop the first song when you click on
the second song? I do NOT want to have to click on the song that is playing
to get it to stop before proceeding to the next song.

What version of PowerPoint are you using? You could probably do this as a
trigger sequence in PowerPoint 2002 or 2003.

I am using PPT2003. I'll take a look at the trigger sequence to see if that
will solve my problem.
Thanks!

Tried the trigger sequence and it does not appear to be the solution. May
worked if only working with 2 objects or know exactly what sequence you
want. I am working with 3 objects and would not know in advance in what
sequence they will be selected to play.

If you go into the effects tab and check the box that
says, basically, no replay, this should stop it. Why
don't you have the sound effects start automatically,
instead of with a mouse click??
