sound clips won't play - PowerPoint 2003

Is there some setting I've overlooked? None of the sound clips will play in
Power Point. I can get them to play in Media Player, but even when I try to
insert the wav file as an object and let Media Player play it, that doesn't
work. Since none of the clips in the Clip Organizer will play, it makes me
think something is turned off somewhere.

John, thanks for this response. I had an epiphany a few minutes ago - I
encountered this problem while accessing my presentation via a MetaFrame
(Citrix) internet connection to my company's network. When I saved the ppt
to my hard-drive and attempted to play my wav, it worked! Something in the
limits of our portal connection, I suppose. Thanks again. A nurse, who

It may be a linking problem.

Sounds/Movies don't play, images disappear or links break when I move or email a
presentation
