Sound attachement didn't work when mailed on powerpoint

I inserted a sound file on my presentation and then emailed the PPoint as ana
ttachement and when the other end opened the Powerpoint which openbed OK BUT
the sound file would not play - it tried to open Windows Media Player instead
of palying the sund file within Power point? Has it not inserted correctly?
Played OK on my PC when running the file?

Only wav sounds are embedded in the presentation, all others are linked.

Luc, Well Ithought that was all I had to do but alas not quite- I produced
the change to options and made the file size larger but also converted my MP3
sound to wav and then reinserted into the PP show. Then I tried to email it
to my boss, big mistake - too big so I then burnt a CD of the MP3 and Wav
file PP show and ran on his PC but the show opened OK but when I clicked on
the sound icon - NOTHING. There is either a problem on his PC settings or the
copies - I will try and play on another PC to resolve - at this stage it just
comes up with an error in Win Media Player which is strange as I do not know
why WMP is opening - I have bot made a note of the error message but will.

Any ideas based on this info so far?
