Some Rules Fail Automatically BUT not Manually.

Most rules (approximately 20) are properly observed when new mail comes in,
but some email is misrouted to the wrong folder (alway the same folder). If I
move the misrouted email back to the inbox and rerun the rules then all mail
is properly routed? How come there are some failures when mail is routed
automatically, but not when manually routed?

BTW: I do check "Stop processing more rules" in each and every rule I create.

Thanks for your help.

Post the exact definition of your rules and an example of a message you
think should be processed. Mask any real addresses, of course.

Brian ...thanks for giving this your attention. In thinking about how to
respond, I looked again at each rule (something I have done a dozen times)
and this time I found that I had set up one of my rules incorrectly and this
was the cause of my problems. I am a little embarassed, but what the heck ...
problem now solved. Thanks again for your interest.

I'm glad you found your problem.
