some passwords no longer saved

I have Internet Explorer 6.0 set to remember usernames and passwords, most
are saved and work fine, but recently just a few web sites no longer
remember my password or prompt to save it when re-entered. (most sites still
work, and remember the stored password) Is there anyway to force IE to
again ask to save a password on a site ?
(p.s. the sites in question have not blocked the "remember password" feature
as my co-workers passwords are still remembered on these site)

Hi,
To regain the remember password prompt...

Run Protected Storage PassView from http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/pspv.html
to extract and save stored passwords.

Clear all passwords from Internet Options> Content> Autocomplete.
