Software Patch upgradation in XPe

Hi All,

Is it possible to run software upgrades in XPe just like in other desktop OS?
If i include Desktop QFE Installer component in my image, will it solve the
purpose?
Want to know more about Microsoft DUA (Device update agent) and when to use
it.

Yes. But you won't be able to use WU.
You can have SUS working on XPe though: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa940928.aspx.

Yes, if you want to install the updates as is meaning you want to run the desktop update installers on your image.
Keep in mind that the Desktop QFE installer is nothign more than just a marco coponent that will bring in to your image config all
the components required to run the MS XP Pro update installers.
