Software loads in foreign language.

I recently bought Belkin Bluetooth adapter and attempted to install the
software on my computer. To my surprise software installed itself in
Polish language (I live in US and my all software, I installed so far
on this computer, loads in English).
Belkin CD covers many languages and somehow my computer selects the
Polish version. There are a lot different files on the CD and I was
able to identify the one that is responsible for Polish version. When
I delete it from the CD I cannot load anything. My computer is still
looking for the Polish version.

If I install the software on my office computer it loads itself in
English without any problem.

Does anybody know what file/folder of Windows XP is responsible for
selecting Polish version on my computer? I would like to get rid of
it.

Please help!

I have encountered lthis before. Fortunately, my software was
installing in French, was I am able to read. I looked all over for a
solution. It turns out that somehow in my "Regional and Language
option" Control Panel applet Advanced tab, the "Language for
non-Unicode Programs" got changed to French. Check in yours.

Give me some guidance, please

You just posted this an hour ago. Impatience is not well rewarded. This is

Have you talked to Belkin?

Rock,
I apologize, I did not know I can get an answer after 24 h, I was under
impression that once the subject is gone from the first page it will
never be addressed. I will be patient next time.
And yes, I talked with Belkin unfortunately I am not dealing with
people who wrote the
algorithm, they are asking me to download "new" drivers that I already
received on CD.
I know exactly which two files on their CD are responsible for Polish
version. After deleting them my machine does not want to load anything.
There must be something on my computer that "tells" CD to load Polish
version.

Hi Smlunatic,
Thanks for the tip. I will check it at home. I am able to read Polish
that is not a problem. The software works great I can pair phones,
transfer files and all that.... but I just want to have one language
(English) on my computer. I had Polish font and Polish keyboard
installed and was suspecting this could be a problem but after deleting
all what was related to Polish version, the problem still exist.

I'm not familiar with bluetooth or it's software. The only thing I can
suggest is to run the Windows Installer Clean Up Utility. If there is a
entry for the bluetooth software, then delete it.

Description of the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility

It looks like you are using Google groups which applies a web interface to
access what is actually a Usenet newsgroup. It is only in the web interface
that a message appears on any particular page. Many people use a
newsreader. If you have any plans on going to newsgroups regularly then
look at using a newsreader.

XP comes with Outlook Express which can be set up for newsgroup access. The
experience is much better. Google Groups Advanced Search is still a great
way to search for past posts, but for reading and replying to your messages,
a newsreader is much better. Here is a link for how to set up OE for
newsgroup access.

YOU ARE CORRECT SIR!!!!! It happened to me too, somehow when I was
installing Polish font I left it with POLISH that is why it was
loading in Polish. After switching to English it loaded in English
without any problem.
Where should I send the six-pack :)

Hi Rock

Thanks for the tip, I will check it out.

I see in your other post you got a resolution. That's great. I don't use
other languages so the thought of that being the problem never occurred to
me.
