Software Licensing

Hi I'm a Manager of a voluntary organisation in Scotland
based at 3 sites. I'd heard that next year MS plan to
bring in software licensing fees and wanted to find out
what cost implications this would have for us. I'd also
heard that MS will then no longer be supporting the
Windows 2000 platform. I am currently reviewing out IT
strategy and intend to purchase up to date software (as
well as hardware). Is there a pricing structure available
yet and could someone give me an indication of costs,
could we go for a multi site/multi user licence? I want
to build these costs into our future budgets. I'd be
grateful for a quick response if possible. Thanks

support for w2k is continued, there was some talk, since retracted, of
discontinuing support for w9*
