I never even realised how big some of the other Suns were - great link Mucks :)

Saw that a while back Mucks, never got round to posting it. It certainly is an eye opener for those who dont realise the vastness of the cosmos.

I believe the deep field view taken by the Hubble telescope showing millions of galaxies that each hold 500,000 million suns was only focused on an area of space a quarter of the moons diameter !!!! now thats scary

In my opinion it is an absolute certainty there is life out there, maybe even in our own solar system in the ice of jupiters moon Europa.

I agree... although the illustration certainly does hammer home the fact that it will probably take a while to find anything (unless we are lucky)!

Great find - it is hard to comprehend what a tiny proportion of the universe we populate.
