smileys :(

i used to be able to type :) and it would turn into a real smiley face, but after i tried downloading some tools, it won't do that anymore. i tried looking in 'insert' but there is no options for emotions. i have office 2003, please help :(
 
I don't have Office 2003, but I know this works in Word if AutoCorrect is
turned on (replace text as you type).
