small window

When I open a Window link the new window is often too small for the content.
Some have a slider bar allowing me to scan the informationn in the window.
Others have no slider bar and no way to see what lies outside the border. How
do I adjust the size to fit the content?

What application? Explorer?

Depending on the app, each app can be resize by holding the left mouse
button down on one of the windows edges and dragging .... stretching ....
the window. The same holds true for the corners.

Hi Window 2 small,
On the new Window place your Pointer on the Edge of the window and Hold
down your left mouse and Drag until the whole window content shows Fit the
screen and release, do that in all directions ( Down, UP, Left, Right) Hit F5
(Refresh) or you can configure Explorer to open the new Window in the same
window if you wish by Going to the IE Properties and Click on ASdvanced Tab;
[ ] Reuse Windows for Relunching shortcuts. check box
Next time you open a new window, IE it will remember the last settings have
been implemented and apply it.
HTH.

Reuse windows... has nothing to do with Windows remember size settings. It
just doesn't create a new window, it reuses the current window. If you
resize again, the window stays as is. Once you close, the next time the
window opens, the last size is remembered.

But it's misleading to say that the Reuse option causes this.

You want ... Remember folders

Try to change your screen size
Click start-control panel-display-settings- move your screen size to the
highest.

Nass,

I am using Explorer. The window box does not allow me to resize it using the
mouse. I do not get the "drag lines" when the cursor arrow is on a side or
corner of the window. An example of the probelm is as follows.

I am tying to edit a web builder page. I click the change color button which
opens a window with color choices. The window measures about 2"x2", but I can
see that there are colors outside the window because some of the color
choices are cut off. There are no slider bars to move about the wiondow.
Also, the OK and Apply buttons are not present so they are obviously off the
screen.

Thank for your help!
