Slow Slow

When I click between different emails in my inbox, it takes ages for it to
appear on the display. My internet connection is super fast. I have recently
had to reinstall Office XP and I think a setting has been changed somewhere.
I have an anti-virus but it never slowed it down like this before. To put in
perspective, I've had 120 spams today and its took 37 minutes to delete them
because of this problem. I have ran a virus check and its fine. Any thoughts
on a registry tweak??
Cheers Carl

Carl I had exactly this problem on an XP Pro box running
XP Office Pro with Outlook 2002.
I discovered the user was using MSN Messenger 6.1 which in
itself is OK.
What I did discover by carefully studying Task
Manager "Processes" that a program called MSMSGS.exe
wasn't open but would fire up when flicking between
Outlook messages. I Killed MSN Messenger and opened
MSMSGS.exe and configured it to open on Windows start up.
Presto problem fixed.
I don't know why the two message programs have a conflict
and I may have fixed my problem by devious means but fixed
is fixed.
Hope I have solved your issue too.
Kind regards
