Slow Screensaver

There is a bug in the photo screensaver. If you have the screensaver photo
selection to point to a file other than the default or if it is pointing
elsewhere other than the Windows Photo Gallery, it takes at least 2 minutes
(sometimes closer to 3) to return to the log-on screen (or the desktop if you
don't have that option selected). It would be great if you could fix it.

I personally don't see this behavior at all. The bug I do see is that my
monitor timeout or sleep wont kick in if I have the photos selected as the
screensaver.

I too have this problem on a brand new machine. A Core 2 Duo 2.13GHz with 4Gb
of RAM and it still take close to a minute to return to the desktop after a
keystroke or mouse movement. I actually don't use the screen saver because of
this now.

I have the photos stored on a network drive. XP handled this just fine. I
like the new 'tagging' capability, but am missing things like seeing the
filename of the picture, and being able to go forward or backwards during the
screen saver 'slide show'.
Fix this bug and bring back the features this screen saver had in XP!
