Slow PC

My PC is becoming slower and slower. I just installed the McAfee Antivirus,
and that seems to have made it worse... slow start up, internet VERY slow,
switching between programs & closing them causes them to display "program not
responding" and I sually have to boot out. I have XP Home Edition that i
recently installed about 6 months ago. And since has become slower and
slower, even after cleaning defragmenting, etc! HELP!

Let me guess--you got a message that your first message wasn't posted, so
you sent it again.

You are using the web interface to participate in this newsgroup--it's the
slowest, clunkiest, most error-prone method there is. Do yourself a favor
and switch to a newsreader, such as Outlook Express, which comes with
